Notes From a Big Country - Bill Bryson
One tip: this is not a book to read in an airport. Or, in fact, anywhere in public. People tend to give you strange looks when you sit with your shoulders shaking and tears streaming down your face as you try desperately not to laugh out loud like a madwoman.
Or perhaps that's just me.
Anyway, Notes from a Big Country is a collection of columns by Bill Bryson on the vagaries of American life after a move from England to America. It's utterly hilarious. That's all I need to say, I think.
