Finally I can say goodbye to the Twilight series once and for all. Breaking Dawn, while the least psychologically worrying of the series (since at least Bella is in love with a member of her own species) is also the least believable. Bella miraculously becoming a perfect, non-bloodthirsty vampire? Oh, how convenient. It would have been a much more interesting story if Bella had had to struggle against her nature. And Meyer seems to have some difficulty thinking up different powers for her vampires. One of them can see other vampires' powers, for heavens' sake. Just unbelievable.
To be completely fair, I can see the attraction of the series. If you're thirteen years' old and don't know any better. But I would never want to fall in love with a vampire. I'm happy to say my life is definitely, categorically not Twilight.
